What it pays
Two-thirds of your gross (before-tax) wages
Maximum
$1,507.01 a week (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027)
Minimum
$376.75 a week (July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027)
Minimum rule

The minimum is $376.75 a week, but your benefit can never be more than your own average weekly wage. If you earned less than $376.75 a week, you get your full average weekly wage.

Applies to
Injuries (or disablement from disease) on or after July 1, 2026 and through June 30, 2027
How your wages are figured

Your average weekly wage is usually your earnings in the job where you were hurt during the 52 weeks before the injury, divided by 52. If you missed more than 7 days in a row in that time, those weeks are left out. If you worked there less than 52 weeks, your earnings are divided by the weeks you worked, if that is fair to both sides.

How long it can last

Temporary total disability can be paid for up to 500 weeks. Permanent total disability is paid for life.

Temporary total disability pays two-thirds (66 2/3%) of your average weekly wage. For injuries from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, the most you can get is $1,507.01 a week and the least is $376.75 a week (or your full wage, if lower). The limits change every July 1.
