Privacy policy
Last updated: October 31, 2026
This policy explains what happens to information when you use Work Comp Map (workcompmap.com).
The short version
You do not need an account. When you download, copy or print one of our documents (the notice to your employer, the claim checklist or the doctor note), we save only your name, your phone or email (if you gave one), your state and which document it was. We never save anything about your injury, your health, your doctors, your employer, your wages or your claim. We do not sell information. We run a cookie-free visit counter to see how many people use the site.
What we do not collect
Injury and medical information is sensitive, so we keep it off our servers. We do not save or send: what happened, the parts of your body that were hurt, whether you needed medical care, the name of a doctor, hospital or clinic, the name of your employer or supervisor, the names of witnesses, the insurer's name, claim, policy or case numbers, your wages or pay figures, any date you enter (including the date of injury), your street address, the address you write to, the items you checked, or anything you type in your own words. Those details stay in your browser and in the file you create.
The documents, the calculator and the deadline helper
The tools work in your browser, and the PDF, Word and text files are created on your device. When you download, copy or print a document, we save: the name you entered, the phone number or email you entered (if any), the state of the page you were on and the type of document. We also record the page, the date and time, and your approximate location (country and state) based on your IP address. We do not save anything you type until you download, copy or print, and then only the items just listed.
The benefit calculator and the deadline helper work only in your browser. The pay figures and the dates you enter are not saved or sent.
We use the saved information to understand how many people in each state use our tools and to improve our guides. We do not sell it, and we do not share it except with service providers that host our site and database (Cloudflare), or if the law requires it. We keep it for up to three years, then delete it. To see or delete it, email hello@robinclaim.com with the name you used, and we will respond within 30 days.
Information collected automatically
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, receives technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you request, to deliver the page and protect the site.
We run our own visit counter. It does not use cookies. It keeps a random visit identifier in your browser's local storage. For each visit it records the pages viewed, the site you came from, the time spent on each page, clicks on buttons and links, your IP address, your country, state and city, and your device and browser type. We keep visit records for 5 years and then delete them. We do not use Google Analytics on this site.
Email, children and your rights
If you email us, we use your message only to reply. Please do not send us injury, medical or claim details by email. This site is meant for adults and is not directed at children under 13. You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to delete it. Residents of states such as California may have additional rights.
