How your wages are figured
Your average weekly wage is based on your gross wages (pay before taxes and deductions). Usually your wages for the 13 calendar weeks before the week of the injury are divided by 13 (or by the number of weeks you actually worked if you worked fewer than 13 weeks).
How long it can last
TTD is paid until a doctor says you can return to work or until your condition reaches maximum medical improvement, whichever comes first, for no more than 400 weeks. You may not get TTD if the doctor allows light duty and your employer offers it, for any period you receive unemployment benefits, if you are fired for post-injury misconduct, or if you quit when suitable work was available.
